1 U.S.A. - BEIJING Depart West Coast today aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey and cross the International Dateline.
2 U.S.A. - BEIJING En route.
3 BEIJING (B/L/D) Upon arriving Beijing, you will be met by our professional local guide at the Beijing International Airport. Then we shall proceed to the Palace Museum - the Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square - the well-known largest square in the world, and the Summer Palace - the largest imperial garden in China. This evening you will enjoy a Chinese acrobatic show with delicious dinner.
4 BEIJING (B/L/D) Full day excursion outside of Beijing to the remarkable Great Wall and legendary Ming Tombs - the last resting place of 13 emperors. Tonight"s special dinner gives you a real taste of the famous Peking Duck
5 BEIJING - XIAN (B/L/D) After breakfast we shall fly to one of the China¡¯s ancient capital - Xi"an. Upon arrival we visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and ancient city wall. A dumpling feast is arranged for tonight"s dinner.
6 XIAN - CHONGQING ( B,L,D ) Xian was the capital of China for 11 dynasties extending over 1000 years. We are going to visit the amazing Terra Cotta Warriors - thousands of life-size clay warriors, horses and chariots which were part of the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, dicovered in 1974 by a farmer who was digging a well. Afterward we shall visit the Huaqing Hot Spring. Then our tour will proceed to Chongqing and board the Regal China Cruise in the evening.
7 XIAN - LUOYANG (B/L/D) Today we go to Luoyang by train. Located in the west of Henan Province and to the southern bank of the middle reaches of Yellow River, a national historical and cultural famous city well-known globally, known as the ancient capital of nine dynasties, and also one of the seven ancient capitals in China. We shall visit the Guanlin Monastery - said to be the place where the chopped-off head of Guan Yu, a famous general of the Shu kingdom in ancient China, was buried. Then our tour will head to The Longmen Grottoes - one of three famous treasure houses of stone sculpture in China.
8 LUOYANG - ZHENGZHOU (B/L/D) We proceed to the capital city of Henan Province, Zhengzhou, today. We shall go to the famous Songshan Shaolin Temple. Built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the temple has been as old as more than 1,500 years, with a total area of nearly 100,000 square feet. It is regarded as the ancestral temple of the Zen Sect of the Chinese Buddhism, the origin of the world-famous Shaolin Kungfu, a top tourist attraction of China, also known as the "No.1 Famous Temple under Heaven". About half a mile away from Shaolin Temple is our next stop - The forest of Pagoda. It boasts the largest complex of Buddhist pagodas in China, with about 240 pagodas of the dynasties from Tang to Qing. We shall also visit the Zhongyue Temple located at the foot of Mt. Huanggai.
9 ZHENGZHOU - KAIFENG (B/L/D) Visit relics of the City in Shang Dynasty in the morning. Located in the downtown of Zhengzhou, it is a city relics in the early Shang Dynasty ahead of the "Ruins of Yin Dynasty in Anyang". Two copper square pots were unearthed from the rampart, which are rare imperial court"s relics of the early Shang Dynasty. We also visit the Henan Museum (one of the three largest museums in China) and the scenic spot of Yellow River. Later we shall proceed to Kaifeng by bus.
10 KAIFENG - ZHENGZHOU (B/L/D) Kaifeng, located on the alluvial plains on the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, a key tourism city of Henan Province. In the morning we visit The Memorial Temple to Lord Bao, who was a famous uprighted officer in ancient China. Afterward we proceed to the 13-story Iron Tower - erected in 1049 during the Northern Song Dynasty, it has been renowed for its excellent designed wooden structure. We shall return to Zhengzhou in the evening.
11 ZHENGZHOU - SHANGHAI (B/L/D) Take a morning flight to Shanghai, then we shall tour the Yu Garden - a celebrated Ming Dynasty-era garden, Nan Pu Bridge and the famous Cheng Huang Temple. Also enjoy the marvelous view of the Huangpu River Bund.
12 SHANGHAI - U.S.A. (B) Transfer to the International airport after breakfast and finish the wonderful 12 days tour.
